THE ZAINTECH DATA CHALLENGE

RIT DUBAI - RTA

The ZainTECH Data Challenge is an annual hackathon hosted by the Rochester Institute of Technology of Dubai (RIT Dubai).

Each year, undergraduate students from across the UAE are invited to participate in solving Machine Learning (ML) problems, and the top five teams are invited to present their methodology and results to a panel of judges for a final score.

This year, we are excited to partner with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), adding a unique dimension to the challenge by incorporating real-world transportation data and insights.

ZAINTECH PRIZES

One month paid internship of AED 5,000 per team member

AED 1,000 Amazon Gift Card per team member

AED 500 Amazon Gift Card per team member

RIT DUBAI PRIZES

Each student will receive an amount equivalent to AED 45,000 towards scholarship in their Master’s program.

Each student will receive an amount equivalent to AED 32,000 towards scholarship in their Master’s program.

Each student will receive an amount equivalent to AED 19,000 towards scholarship in their Master’s program.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Data Challenge Scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarships.
The scholarship amount will not be increased or adjusted if any group member does not enroll in the Master's program.
The Data Challenge Scholarship is valid exclusively for admissions in the Spring 2025 or Fall 2025 intakes.
Existing students will receive the more advantageous scholarship; if they already hold a better scholarship, it will continue, and the Data Challenge Scholarship will not be applied.
