Dubai – August 18, 2026: ZainTECH, the digital solutions arm of Zain Group, has been recognized by Dubai Municipality, in recognition of its ongoing efforts to supporting smart city initiatives and leveraging digital innovation that are improving operational efficiency and enhancing municipal services.

Through its capabilities in artificial intelligence, managed services, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure, ZainTECH supports public sector organizations in their digital transformation journeys, helping improve operational visibility, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

As part of the ongoing collaboration between the two entities, Dubai Municipality’s executive management visited ZainTECH’s Experience Center in Dubai in July 2026 to explore technologies that can further accelerate its digital transformation roadmap. The visit focused on practical use cases designed to improve operational performance, optimize infrastructure investments, and enable more intelligent municipal services.

A key area of discussion was the planned rollout of Video Compression technology across multiple Dubai Municipality locations. Designed to optimize bandwidth utilization, the solution significantly reduces storage requirements, lowers infrastructure costs, and improves the efficiency of video surveillance operations while delivering measurable return on investment.

The discussions also explored Dubai Municipality’s vision for AI-powered predictive municipal operations through the adoption of Agentic AI across fleet management, public safety, and security. By leveraging real-time insights and predictive analytics, these capabilities can enable proactive decision-making, improve operational responsiveness, and support smarter, more efficient city services.

Another strategic focus was the concept of a Centralized Command and Control Center that integrates video surveillance, IoT devices, AI-powered analytics, and operational systems into a unified platform. The proposed approach would provide a comprehensive operational view across municipal assets, automate incident detection and response, and empower operators with intelligence-driven insights to improve coordination and accelerate decision-making.

During the visit, officials from Dubai Municipality also had the opportunity to experiencelive demonstrations of ZainTECH’s Digital, Intelligent, and Resilient framework, showcasing capabilities across AI, cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, IoT, drones and robotics, and smart city technologies. The demonstrations highlighted how these integrated technologies can help government entities build secure, resilient, and future-ready digital operations.
